Kata 4 - Ripping Tiger

  1. Step forward with right foot into a kenpo stance, right undercut punch to the stomach & up to the chin, twist left into a side horse stance & right back fist to the head & pull fist down to the stomach, right palm to the groin & rip out, shuffle back with left foot into a side horse stance.

  2. Block right roundhouse punch with left hand & grab wrist, pull arm down, right crane to the groin & face, right vertical palm to the face, cover back with right foot into a kenpo stance.

  3. 45 with left foot into a horse stance & block right punch with left hand, right & left reverse punch to the ribs, right side kick to the knee & step forward into a kenpo stance, right vertical palm to the face, right side kick to the ribs & cross right foot in front of left foot, cross right hand in front of left hand.

  4. Step out with left foot into a kenpo stance & block left punch with right hand, twist right into a horse stance & block right punch with left hand & grab wrist, twist left into a kenpo stance & right vertical punch to the face, twist right into a horse stance & left vertical palm to the chest, right front kick to the groin & step forward into a kenpo stance, right vertical palm to the face, cover back with right foot into a kenpo stance.

  5. Step forward with right foot into a kenpo stance, block right club with left hand & grab wrist, right undercut punch to the stomach, right rip to the throat, right undercut punch to the face, cover back with right foot into a horse stance.

  6. Block right slashing knife to the stomach with left downward block, right back fist breaks arm, left side chop to the throat, right poke to the eyes & slash, pivot on left foot 90 degrees to the right, cover back with right foot into a kenpo stance.

  7. 45 with left foot into a horse stance & block right punch with left hand, left side chop to the chest, right vertical punch to the face, twist left into a kenpo stance & right palm to the groin, twist right into a horse stance & right vertical punch to the face, right front kick to the groin & step forward into a kenpo stance, right vertical palm to the face, cover back with right foot into a kenpo stance.

  8. 45 with left foot into a horse stance & cross left hand in front of right hand, block right punch with left hand, left rip to the eye, twist left into a kenpo stance & right rip to the eye, right side kick to the knee & step forward into a kenpo stance, right vertical palm to the face, cross left foot behind right foot & right horizontal elbow strike to the head, right side chop to the neck, twist left 180 degrees into a horse stance & left side chop to the neck, resume a horse stance position.
