Tournament Speech

Bow into the ring, walk with arms not moving against your sides. Turn 90 degrees at the center of the back of the ring and walk up to the center judge, close enough for them to hear you. Bow to the center judge and any other judges in the ring, step out to a relaxed stance (feet shoulder with apart) with hands in fists. Say the speech:

Judges, my name is [First & Last Name]. I represent Immortal Martial Arts Academy in Austin, TX. My instructor is Sifu Cat Gurinsky. Today I will be performing [Name of Kata]. Judges, with your permission, may I begin?

(after they say "yes") -> Thank you judges

Back up to the center of the ring (by walking backwards, don't turn your back to the judges). Bow one last time (purple and above should do intermediate bow). Begin your form. At the very end of your form bring both feet to attention while bringing both hands up and over your head to your sides. Bow to the judges and step out to should width apart, hands down in fists and say "Judges"

Wait for your score and then bow and back out of the ring (walking backwards) and bowing as you leave the ring.
